From Academic Frontiers to Enterprise Applications: Insights on AI and Data Science
BigObject was honored to be invited to the 2025 DATA Conference hosted by the Universidad de Deusto. Out of 147 paper submissions from 41 countries, we are proud to have been selected as one of only 27 accepted papers.
We witnessed many exciting developments in the field and would love to share a few trends that bring tangible value to enterprises:
✅ Automated Topic Modeling (BERTopic): Rapidly identify key themes from customer feedback
✅ Model Transparency (Model Card): Help businesses clearly understand the data and limitations behind each AI model
✅ Data Preprocessing Visualization (YData Profiling): Gain better insights into data quality and associated risks
On the final day of 2025 DATA Conference, BigObject Chief Strategy Officer Allen Wang and Oscar were invited to present our accepted paper on stage, engaging in in-depth discussions with scholars from world-class research institutions such as the University of Toronto and the University of Amsterdam.
📜Paper Topic:
Using the Aralia decentralized open data ecosystem to support AI-Ready data and the openRAG framework, comprehensively enhancing the decision-making quality of AI agents.
BigObject shared our technical solutions to the “five major pain points of closed data” and the practical design of the “Data Planet” model, which sparked enthusiastic feedback and discussion at the venue.
Technical Contributions and Practical Benefits:
✅ Reducing the cost of data acquisition and redundant processing
✅ Improving the inference accuracy of AI across various scenarios
✅ Building a sustainable open data sharing mechanism
In addition to the presentation, we also engaged in in-depth discussions with institutions such as Zayed University in the UAE, the Fraunhofer Society in Germany, and the MITRE in the United States,
exchanging perspectives on data quality, open ecosystem collaboration, and data sharing,
and opening up possibilities for future international cooperation,
perfectly concluding the three-day academic exchange event.
