Building an AI-Ready Education and Open Data Ecosystem

BigObject has long been committed to developing and advancing open data sharing and application ecosystems. Its newly developed platform, Aralia, enables organizations to securely and reliably integrate and utilize open data—transforming data from closed to open, and from isolated to shared—thereby unlocking its full potential in the AI era.

Through this collaboration, UCSI University will integrate Aralia’s open data environment into its academic and research programs. Students and researchers will gain hands-on experience working with real-world datasets, enhancing their skills in AI, data analytics, and open data governance. This partnership marks a significant milestone for BigObject in expanding its open data ecosystem globally, bringing Taiwan’s experience in open data infrastructure to the international education stage.

Driving Educational Innovation through Open Data

BigObject CEO Wen-Way Hsueh stated, “This is not just a memorandum of agreement—it’s a collaborative journey toward the future of education. We believe that only through the integration of open data and AI can education truly connect with the world and inspire innovation.”

A representative from UCSI University added, “Our collaboration with BigObject allows students to work directly with authentic datasets, equipping them with the AI and data application skills needed to meet real industry demands.”

The signing of this MoA not only represents a major cross-border connection between Taiwan and Malaysia in the field of educational technology but also marks a key step for BigObject in expanding the Aralia ecosystem to international partners.
